After two 'one dayers' at The Round George's in Kemptown I can now confirm my weekly Sunday trading will begin on the 13th of March as an ongoing addition to the pub's 'Community Hub' approach they're developing.
I'll be setting up in the basement each week bringing the store to this great space I've been fortunate to secure as one of my independent local sites around the city this year.
Saturdays I'm with Shortts on St James's Street so having a Sunday spot with another local independent space really helps to carry on my additional work with shining light not only my mobile store but also the venues that are bringing together the idea of The 'Hub' approach in the city.
The pub itself is situated halfway up The Sutherland Road on the right hand side if coming from Kemptown and is about a 10 minute walk off the seaftont from Concorde2. A rather nice walk on a nice day or not that far in a taxi or by bus for anyone wanting somewhere different to visit.
I've even got a leather sofa in my area to sit down and relax on as well as a wonderfully lit room that really show's off my work rather well. And ofcourse as it's a fully functioning public house there's opportunity to enjoy a drink either indoors or outside.
Hope if you're passing or looking for an authentic 'slightly out of town' Sunday experience you'll swing through and enjoy hanging out with me each Sunday as I move into the year.
